Priority of Bratislava airport is opening a new terminal
The main aim of Bratislava airport for 2010 is completion of construction of a new departure terminal in May and its opening in summer. “We believe that our co-operation with the renowned Czech airline Travel Service will be a contribution in the field of charter transport and that it could attract Slovak as well as foreign clients and expand the offer of charter destinations from Slovakia,“ said spokesperson of Letisko M. R. Štefánika – Airport Bratislava (M. R. Štefánik Airport – Airport Bratislava) Dana Madunická. An equal number of passengers are expected to be checked in 2010 as in 2009 which would mean a cease of last year's decrease from last year when around 1,7 mill. passengers were checked in, a 23 % fall from 2,22 mill. in 2008.
