Bratislava: Movables and green vegetation will be revitalized at Hodžovo Square
Hodžovo Square in Bratislava would be partially revitalized till the end of May; treatments will touch movables and green vegetation as well, Eva Chudinová, the Bratislava municipal council speaker, confirmed it. „The municipal council will revitalize the green vegetation in big flower-pots, soil will be replaced, plants planted out, large-size flowerpots will be painted. After consultation with the president security three concrete waste bins in vicinity of the Grassalkovič palace will be removed,“ she detailed. Benches of the so-called „Vienna type,“ known from the Main Square, will be embedded in Hodžovo Square. Original under-concreted bends will be removed. Also 130 black cast-iron shafts were added all over the circumference of the Hodžovo Square connected by the chain, on 8 of them – near MHD bus stops and cross walks – new litterbins are placed. Shafts ought to avoid access of cars to the Square. It will only be permitted on defined places for cars serving for president, for police and the municipal council.
